Here's the latest breakdown from the 4Warn Storm Center:

Wednesday: Periods of rain and thunderstorms. Parts of our area should see a brief break in the action from mid-afternoon to early evening, before another line of rain/storms develops tonight. Slight risk of severe storms. Temps climb through the day, so no problems with ice.

Thanksgiving: Early morning storms, with showers still possible around parade time. Turning colder with temps dropping into the 30s. Looks like there certainly could be a brief period of a wintery mix of sleet, freezing rain, and snow in the metro as the precip shuts down in the afternoon. Warm pavement temps should help, and little to no accumulation is expected.
