(KMOV) – If you’ve ever wondered where your food comes from or want to learn how to grow it yourself, Earthdance is a program that will teach you all that, and more.
Earthdance was created to grow more local, organic food for the region. It runs a nine-month long apprentice program that trains participants in organic farming techniques – everything from planting the seeds to selling the produce in farmer’s markets.
The Earthdance farm is right in the middle of a Ferguson neighborhood, on a 127-year-old organic farm.
The cost to participate in the program is $550. And of course, apprentices get to take home a share of the harvest.
