(KMOV) -- The St. Louis Blues stellar season could be coming to a halt. The Blues' star center T.J. Oshie, may be out with a broken ankle.
According to ESPN, Oshie has suffered a broken ankle, and will be examined Thursday morning to determine if it will need surgery.
Oshie was helped off the ice during Wednesday night’s loss again the Columbus Blue Jackets with an apparent injury to his left foot.
He limped off the ice with 11 minutes left to play after Columbus’ Samuel Pahlsoon fell on Oshie during a fight.
Oshie was a first-round pick of the Blues in 2005, and has had one goal and nine assists in his second season with the team.
The Blues play Thursday night at the Scottrade Center against the Nashville Predators.
