ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A surprise snow storm is snarling traffic in the St. Louis area.

The wet, slick snow was causing slow-going on roadways throughout the region on Monday morning. A few slide-offs and fender-benders were reported during the morning commute.

It isn't expected to last long -- the high is expected to reach into the low 40s by Monday afternoon. And the week gets better as it goes, with a high of 70 degrees expected by Thursday.
