(KMOV) – A 22-year-old man from Highland, Illinois was charged Thursday with burglary and with being in possession of stolen firearms, officials said in a press release.

Adam McCall is accused of burglarizing Barton Electric in Trenton, Illinois and a car on the business’ parking lot on March 9 around 7 a.m. Police say they found McCall on the parking lot of the business after responding to the burglary call, but McCall reportedly ran inside a building when he saw police. He was caught shortly after.

Officials also say they found an AR-15 rifle in McCall’s vehicle, and later learned that the gun had been stolen from a burglary earlier in the morning.

McCall was taken to the Madison County Jail where his bond was set at $100,000.
