Tuesday March 8:
 
"Light Up the Night" Fat Tuesday Parade featuring premiere Krewes from the Mardi Gras festival. The beads will once again be flying as the Mardi Gras season enters its final hours. Downtown St. Louis at 7:00 p.m.

 
Socialize St. Louis: A gathering of the City’s young and talented.  5:30-7:30pm at the St. Louis Science Center- 5050 Oakland Avenue. Come have some drinks and appetizers "under the stars" of the Planetarium, have dessert on the bridge-way over Interstate 40, meet and talk with Mayor Slay, and then take a private tour of the Science Center   
 
Friday & Saturday March 11-12: 
 
Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater at The Fox Theatre in Grand Center.  $35.00 - $65.00. The company celebrates 50 years of its signature masterwork, Revelations.
 
 Saturday March 12:
 
42nd Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and 33rd Annual Michelob ULTRA St. Patrick's Day Parade Run.  Downtown St. Louis and St. Louis Union Station. 9:00 a.m. run; 12:00 p.m. parade. Elaborate floats, marching bands, and giant helium-filled balloons fill the streets of St. Louis for the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. The parade steps off at noon from 18th and Market Streets and proceeds east on Market to Broadway and then south on Broadway where it will disband. The 9 a.m. five-mile Michelob ULTRA run precedes the parade which begins and concludes on Broadway just south of the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark.
