(KMOV.com) -- A teenager is in stable condition after being shot in the ankle Saturday evening.
Police were called to the 3300 block of Minnesota in south St. Louis city to investigate a shooting. When police arrived, they found an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his ankle.
According to authorities, the teen was walking down the street with friends when a car with tinted windows pulled up. Someone inside the car started shooting. One shot struck the victim in the ankle. Nobody else was injured in the shooting.
The teen was taken to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Police have not determined a motive for the shooting and have not released a description of the suspect vehicle.
