ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – If you’re heading down to the Mardi Gras festivities in Soulard this weekend, here are a few things you need to know.

-       Find a place to park *outside* of Soulard. Traffic will be blocked to most of the neighborhood.

-       Leave your cooler at home. You’re not allowed to bring in your own drinks.

-       Be aware. Undercover officers will be on the lookout for underage drinkers.

The parade starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday and begins at 7th and Cerre streets just south of downtown. It runs south into Soulard, ending at 7th and Sidney streets.
