(KMOV.com) -- St. Louis bank robber suspected in other area bank robberies hits Regions Bank on Kingshighway.
Police said the male suspect walked into the Regions bank in the 4700 block of South Kingshighway around 9:15 a.m. Friday in St. Louis. He walked up to a teller, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police said the suspect may be responsible for three other bank robberies in the St. Louis area. Authorities think he also robbed the Regions Bank on Hampton Avenue back on February 22nd, Southern Commercial Bank on South Lindbergh on January 12th and the First Bank on Telegraph Road back on December 6th of last year.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 5'8" and weighs 150-170 pounds.
He was wearing a orange/brown zip up hoodie, a black bandana over part of his face and blue jeans.
