BOLIVAR, Mo. (AP) -- A doctor from southwest Missouri is charged with inappropriately touching female patients during clinical exams.
Polk County authorities allege that 73-year-old Nolan Crisp assaulted the patients during exams at a Bolivar clinic.
Court documents say eight women have made allegations against Crisp. The documents indicate that Crisp traded prescriptions for sexual favors in at least one case.
The Springfield News-Leader reports Thursday that all of the alleged events occurred between June 2009 and December 2010.
Crisp has been charged with four counts of abuse of a person receiving health care, one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of deviate sexual assault.
Court documents do not list an attorney for Crisp.
