(KMOV)-- A Pacific police officer was arrested by a Franklin County deputy after failing a standard sobriety test on Monday.

Police say that around 1:15a.m., a Franklin County deputy in the Pacific City Park area observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The deputy attempted to catch up to the vehicle to conduct a traffic stop.

The vehicle appeared to be an unmarked police vehicle.

The driver pulled in to a driveway on Old Gray Summit Road and exited the vehicle.
