(KMOV) -- Big Bend has been reopened after Sunday night's storm aftermath.
Downed wires had the road closed from Clayton Rd. to Highway 40.
All of the power poles, about half a dozen, must be removed and replaced. Ameren is working to restore electricity to about 200 customers in Richmond Heights, before the county highway department can even get in to repair signals and county-owned signs.
Ameren is not expected to finish before Tuesday afternoon at the earliest. Then the county will have to repair the signals. It could be the middle to end of this week before this major artery is back to moving like normal.
