Damage reports roll in after powerful storm hits St. Louis area

(KMOV) -- A line of powerful thunderstorms moved through the St. Louis area late Sunday night into Monday morning.
Several possible tornados were spotted in the St. Louis area but News 4 is waiting for official confirmation from the National Weather Service.
A funnel cloud was reported in Villa Ridge, Missouri at 10:55 p.m. on Sunday and a trained spotter saw another funnel cloud in St. Louis City around 11:34 p.m.
Tornados were reported in Gray Summit at 11:14 p.m., Creve Coeur and Mehlville  at 11:27 p.m. and in Schobonier, Illinois at 12:20 a.m.
Several other communities suffered heavy storm damage including Washington, St. Albans and Richmond Heights, Missouri.
On the Illinois side, Troy, Granite City and Edwardsville seem to be the hardest hit.
