The Cardinals are in Jupiter, Florida for spring training. Our own Brian Feldman is in the middle of all the action. Brian will provide constant updates, so check back through the day for the very latest news.

Feb. 27, 11:30 a.m. - RBI single for Zack Cox after triple by Jon Jay.

Feb. 27, 11:27 a.m. - Lance Berkman catches his first "game" fly ball of 2011. Can of corn in right field.

Feb. 27, 11:26 a.m. - Albert steps up down 1-2 in the count...then crushes a HR to left field. The crowd certainly enjoyed it.

Feb. 27, 11:22 a.m. - Solo HR to right field by Minor League player of the year Matt Carpenter. That prompts Jose Oquendo to say "just like Mabry". As in John Mabry.

Feb. 27, 11:17 a.m. - Clean up hitter Mark Hamilton drills a 3-run HR to right field. That was a bomb!

Feb. 27, 11:15 a.m. - "Home" team in field. Consists of the regular starters. "Away" team has Pete Kozma leading off and flying out to center.

Feb. 27, 11:05 a.m. - El Presidente warming up to pitch in the Coaches game on Field #1. Just like he did last year. In that game he threw several breaking pitches...much to the chagrin of the hitters.

Feb. 27, 10:38 a.m. -  Absolutely perfect weather right now. Cloud cover to keep sun from being brutal. Yes, be jealous.

Feb. 27, 9:50 a.m. -  Ryan Franklin takes the mound as the next person to throw. He'll go against the same group. Berkman first...
Feb. 27, 9:46 a.m. - Notes from Tony's chat this AM. Berkman will play in today's coaches game along with tomorrow's opener. Nothing at all set on Freese yet. Tony said he hadn't gotten to him.
Feb. 27, 9:43 a.m. - Berkman mimics running to 1st base after hitting a chopper to the left side of the infield. That man tries to make people laugh nonstop. The guys love him.
Feb. 27, 9:39 a.m. - The big boys at the plate now. Holliday, Berkman, Freese and Rasmus. No Albert in this group.
Feb. 27, 9:38 a.m. - Garcia back out there. Seems to be alternating with McClellan to simulate sitting down in between innings.
Feb. 27, 9:37 a.m. - McClellan makes Bryan Anderson look foolish on a breaking ball. Really nice pitch. That's one of McClellan's biggest assets.
Feb. 27, 9:35 a.m. - Jay another hard hit ball. Really hard to tell exactly how certain pitchers are performing in these live sessions. The drills are totally for the pitchers.
Feb. 27, 9:32 a.m. - Adron Chambers just blasted one off McClellan right back up the middle.
Feb. 27, 9:32 a.m. - Mcclellan up now. He's throwing to Cazana, Stavinoha, Jay and Chambers. Chris Maloney (AAA manager) also looking on with Duncan.
Feb. 27, 9:29 a.m. - Jaime Garcia throwing live BP now...to be followed up by Kyle McClellan. Dave Duncan sending big compliments to Garcia afterward.
Feb. 27, 9:02 a.m. - Lance Lynn is a big dude. Just for the record.
Feb. 27, 8:57 a.m. -  Schedule has a coaches game set for 12:15 eastern today. We'll see how many of the big name guys actually play in it.
Feb. 27, 8:37 a.m. - And they're out and stretching. The day begins...
Feb. 27, 8:20 a.m. - MLB alumni meeting and other daily meetings going on now. Waiting for Tony to come out and address the media.
Feb. 27, 8:04 a.m. - Bill Parcells back in the house. The man just cannot stay away.
Feb. 27, 7:43 a.m. - Tyrell Jenkins among the top prospects here throwing a bullpen session today. Plan on putting a story together for tonight on him. Very athletic pitcher who could've played QB for Baylor.
