(KMOV) -- The driver who hit three police cruisers and led police on a chase through north St. Louis County is in custody.
Dellwood police said the chase started along West Florissant at Hudson. Police spotted the driver speeding. When they attempted to stop the vehicle, the suspect took off toward heavy traffic near Interstate 270.
One officer attempted to shoot out the vehicle's tires as the chase went on. The suspect rammed two police cars and side swiped another as police boxed in the vehicle at a Quick Trip gas station on New Halls Ferry near I-270.
When the vehicle was stopped, the suspect got out and ran. The suspect was caught on foot
No injuries were reported.
