(KMOV) -- A man accused of shooting another man and then firing at police officers in north St. Louis has been arrested.
Police say the shooting happened around 2:00 p.m. on Sunday in the 5900 block of Lucille.
According to police, two officers were driving west on Lucille when they saw the suspect shoot at the victim. One of the officers then fired a shot at the suspect, but didn't hit him.
Police say the suspect then fired a shot at the officers and ran from the scene. The officers were not injured.
The 39-year-old shooting victim was hit once in the thigh. He was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
The 37-year-old suspect was later found at a home in the 4900 block of Lilburn and was taken into custody.
Police say the victim and the suspect knew each other and that a dispute led to the shooting.
