(KMOV.com) -- Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies got the call to the report of a car fire on Highway C in Hillsboro on Wednesday.
The victim in the accident was burned on more than 90-percent of his body and was rushed to an area hospital.
Once on the scene deputies found what were determined to be materials used for manufacturing methamphetamine. A narcotics unit responded to the fire and the scene was secured.
The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
