Making the Grade, Mehlville Superintendent's Contract

The contract of Mehlville Superintendent Terry Noble sparked an uproar when it was revealed last Spring that he would be getting a $38,000 a year pay hike and a $25,000 bonus to remain as Superintendent for three more years. The contract would pay him $226,000 a year, plus benefits, making him one of the best paid Superintendents in the metro area. But in late July Noble decided he would not accept the huge raise, and agreed to the conditions of a new contract.
