(KMOV) -- A St. Louis sailor was just a few seats away from catching Albert Pujols' 400th homerun.
Carl McCullough is from south St. Louis but he's in the Navy and stationed out in Maryland. He was at the Cardinals-Nationals game on Thursday night, sitting in the section next to the man who caught Pujols' historic homerun ball.
The man who caught the ball gave the it back to Pujols. In exchange, Albert signed a baseball for him and he was given some Washington Nationals gear.
Carl sent in a photo of the lucky guy to KMOV.com.
