PINCKNEYVILLE, Ill. (AP) -- One of three teenagers accused in the July killing of a southern Illinois runaway is undergoing testing to determine whether he's mentally fit to stand trial.
Fifteen-year-old Robbie Mueller is being prosecuted as an adult in the Perry County killing.
In pressing for a psychiatric evaluation of his client, Mueller's attorney says the teen has been troubled since his father was murdered when he was 4 years old.
Authorities contend Mueller and his co-defendants killed 15-year-old Sidnee Stephens of Pinckneyville in July. The three are jailed without bond. No motive has been given for the slaying.
