(KMOV) -- KMOV.com received the following news release regarding a road construction project in Maryland Heights.
As part of the relocation of the Dorsett Road/Progress Parkway intersection, major traffic changes will take place in the construction area on Thursday, Aug. 26.
At approximately 9 a.m. on Thursday, the existing traffic signal at Dorsett Road and Progress Parkway/Old Dorsett Road will be turned off and a new signal east of the Drury Inn will become operational. At that time, existing Progress Parkway will be closed to all traffic at Dorsett Road. Motorists will be able to access Progress Parkway via Weldon Parkway and Kimler Drive. Detour signs will be in place to assist in directing traffic to Progress Parkway. Drivers will be able to access Old Dorsett Road via the new traffic signal.
