(KMOV)-- Two men were charged after drugs were found during a traffic stop in Warren County.
Joshua D. Pippinger, 23, was charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Jerry E. Newman, 48, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Warren County Sheriff Kevin Harrison said the two were pulled over during a traffic stop. As the suspect vehicle was pulling over an officer observed Newman lean over as if he was stuffing something under the seat.
Police searched the vehicle and found a small baggie of cocaine beside the passenger seat and console. Police also found three more baggies of cocaine in Newman's shoe.
Further investigation concluded that Newman gave Pippinger money to purchase cocaine, and after Pippinger bought the cocaine, he delivered three of the baggies back to Newman.
Pippinger is held on a $25,000 cash or surety bond. Newman is held on a $10,000 cash or surety bond.
