(KMOV) -- A Washington Park man was sentenced to more than 5 years imprisonment for possessing a firearm while a felon.
Tyrone Harlan of Washington Park, Ill., was sentenced to 70 months in prison after pleading guilty to possessing a firearm while a felon, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Southern District of Illinois.
Harlan, 31, was found to have two rifles and two revolvers in his house on 55th Street in East St. Louis on Dec. 12, 2009. One of the gun’s serial numbers had been obliterated.
