(KMOV.com) -- A mother and father were killed after their vehicle crashed in Franklin County on Saturday.
Deputies said 53-year-old James Strube was driving his SUV along Route AR near S. Outer Rd. around 1:30 p.m. when the vehicle crossed over the center line and he over-corrected.
Police said the SUV then ran off the road and hit a rock and a tree.
Strube and his 33-year-old wife, Holly, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Their two sons, 10-year-old Kevin and 13-year-old Danny, were airlifted to an area hospital with serious injuries. Their conditions have not been released.
Authorities said no one in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt.
Deputies continue to investigate.
