(Missouri Football App) - Missouri senior defensive lineman Michael Sam has been named the SEC Defensive Line Player of the Week.
Sam was rewarded for his big performance against Arkansas State. He recorded three sacks and forced a fumble in the 41-19 win Saturday.
Sam is the third Tiger to earn the honor. Junior Markus Golden received the same award after the Tigers defeated Toledo Sept. 7 and junior Kony Ealy was also honored after Mizzou's blowout win over Indiana.
