(FootballStL) -- The San Francisco 49ers will have its top tight end, and the team’s second-leading receiver, Vernon Davis active against the St. Louis Rams on Thursday night.

Davis missed last week’s 27-7 loss to the Indianapolis Colts and was limited in practice this week because of a hamstring issue. He was originally listed as ‘questionable’ for Thursday night’s game.

Davis has been a favorite target of quarterback Colin Kaepernick near the end zone as he’s hauled in a team-leading two touchdowns, both scored in week one against the Green Bay Packers. He has nine catches for 118 yards in two games.

As for inactives, linebacker Patrick Willis (groin) and Nnamdi Asomugha (knee) will not dress. Michael Wilhoite will start in place of Willis.

Here is the complete list of inactives:

RB Isaiah Pead
G/C Barrett Jones
G Brandon Washington
G/T Mike Person
T Rodger Saffold
TE Mike McNeill
DE William Hayes

QB B.J. Daniels
WR Chris Harper
WR Marlon Moore
CB Nnamdi Asomugha
FB Owen Marecic
LB Patrick Willis
G Joe Looney
