(KMOV) – A job fair is being held in Collinsville Thursday for St. Louis-area residents looking for a new career opportunity.
The free event will be held at the Gateway Convention Center from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will give job seekers an opportunity to meet local employers from a variety of industries.
Those who attend are encouraged to dress in interview attire and bring their resumes to share with prospective employers.
“The Jobs Plus Job Fair, now in its 23rd year, continues to provide a vital service to the Metro East area. In this very trying time, we find the area has a motivated workforce that will serve us well as we rebuild our local economy,” said David Stoecklin, executive director of Madison County Employment & Training.
