ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV.com) – Traffic is tied up on eastbound Interstate 70 after a semi-truck left the roadway and jackknifed Friday morning.
According to reports, the accident happened just before 8 a.m. near the Highway 170 intersection in north St. Louis County.
Emergency crews are on the scene working to clear the wreckage and traffic is reduced to a single lane.
Authorities have not yet determined what caused the truck’s driver to lose control. Police did not say if the driver was injured or if any other vehicles were involved.
