Suspect facing charges for shooting at 3 victims in midtown St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A 26-year-old man is facing multiple charges after police say he fired several shots at three victims on December 26th in midtown St. Louis.
According to police, three people were in the 3500 block of St. Louis Avenue when they observed the suspect, whom they knew, parked at the curb. They called police because they knew the suspect was wanted for a prior assault.
While calling police, the suspect, Eyob Tilahun, fired several gunshots at the group before fleeing on south on Grand Boulevard.
None of the victims were injured in the shooting.
Tiahun has been arrested and is facing two counts of first-degree assault, one count of second-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action. He is being held on a $50,000 cash bond.
