(KMOV)-- A request to block public funding for a memorial to the victims of the Kirkwood City Hall shootings has been denied.
A St. Louis County judge denied Kirkwood resident Michael Moore’s temporary restraining order request. Moore said he wants private money to pay for the memorial, not tax payer money.
Construction on the memorial began in October. The grand opening is set for later this month.
