(KMOV) -- Police are looking for a suspect after an overnight shooting in north St. Louis.
It happened around 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday in the 5800 block of Dr. Martin Luther King.
According to police, a 29-year-old man was standing on the corner of Dr. King and Hamilton when a black man in his late 20s approached him.
The suspect reportedly pointed a gun at the victim and robbed him. Police say after the suspect took money from the victim, he shot him.
The suspect ran from the scene.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in critical, but stable condition.
Police are looking for a black man in his late 20s, 5'10-6'0, 160-180 pounds with medium length dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and jeans.
