LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) -- The Chicago Bears have traded safety Kevin Payne to the St. Louis Rams for an undisclosed 2011 draft pick.

A fifth-round draft pick by Chicago in 2007, Payne started 22 of 32 games in three seasons and had 195 tackles with four interceptions.

The move Wednesday comes one day after the Bears made a trade with Carolina for safety Chris Harris, whom they had dealt to the Panthers less than three years ago.
