ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The St. Louis Rams have picked a second player from South Florida in the NFL draft, picking up defensive end George Selvie in the seventh round.
Selvie had 3 1/2 sacks last year after totaling 14 1/2 sacks in 2007 when he was named Big East Conference player of year. He's a teammate of Jason Pierre-Paul, taken by the New York Giants in the first round.
The Rams took another Selvie teammate, cornerback Jerome Murphy, in the third round.
The 6-4, 250-pound Selvie totaled 69.5 tackles for loss in his career, 5.5 shy of the NCAA record.
