Rams pick defensive end in sixth round

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The St. Louis Rams have picked West Texas A&M defensive end Eugene Sims in the sixth round of the NFL draft.

The school is the alma mater of Rams quarterback Keith Null, a draft pick in the same round last year.

The 6-foot-6, 250-pound Sims had seven sacks as a senior and was the Lone Star Conference South defensive lineman of the year. He had 10 sacks as a junior.
