(KMOV)-- Three adults and one juvenile are in custody after allegedly stealing purses in South County.

Lafonda Davis, 25, Shamond Jackson, 18 and Craig Murphy, 17 are each charged with two counts of robbery in the second degree.

Authorities said the first victim, an 81 year old woman, was knocked to the ground by two men who took her purse near South County mall two weeks ago. On Tuesday, another woman on South Lindbergh was approached by three men who hit her and stole her purse. They ran to a nearby vehicle and drove away.
The car used in both robberies was found by police which led them to the suspects.
Each suspect is being held on 50,000 dollar bond. The 16 year old juvenile was taken to Family Court.
