Connect With...Spotlight Of The Week: Young Friends of Jazz Saint Louis

Young Friends of Jazz St. Louis is a group of men and women in their twenties, thirties and forties dedicated to developing new and diverse audiences through promoting live jazz and supporting jazz education.

Upcoming Events Include:
 
*James Carter performances at Jazz at the Bistro on Wednesday, May 12 and Friday, May 14 at 8:30 and 10:15 PM sets free to all YFJSL members/call to make reservations and mention being a YFJSLer
 
*June 3, at Scape, from 6-9 PM, YFJSL is hosting a benefit to raise money for Jazz St. Louis' educational outreach programs featuring music from Good 4 the Soul, Gene Dobbs Bradford and the Jazz St. Louis All-Stars. Tickets are $35 and include 2 free drink tickets, light appetizers served from 7-8 PM, raffle. Open to all ages.
 
 
Here’s what you can expect if you join Young Friends of Jazz St. Louis:
      
*Free admission for you and a friend to the first set performance on Wednesdays & second set performance on Fridays of the following four selected artists at Jazz at the Bistro:
 
* Student ticket pricing for you to all other second set performances at Jazz at the Bistro (subject to availability)
 
* Free admission to Jazz 101 programs and Jazz Perspectives series
 
* Invitations to exclusive Young Friends of Jazz St. Louis events, meet-and-greet opportunities with select Jazz at the Bistro artists and the Annual Subscriber Appreciation Party
 
* Monthly email blasts from Jazz St. Louis informing you of upcoming performances
 
* Volunteer opportunities including Jazz St. Louis’ Annual Gala and serving on the Board of Young Friends of Jazz St. Louis (contact Jazz St. Louis if you are interested)
