A Woodson Terrace father is accused of touching his daughter's middle-school age friends while they spent the night at the family's home.

Eduardo Ortiz, 42, is in the St. Louis County Jail on $100,000 bond.  Police say Ortiz is an illegal alien and has now been reported to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Police say three girls reported three separate instances of inappropriate touching in 2009.  Two of the girls told police that Ortiz touched their breasts.

Police say the investigation began a year ago when the first of the victims came forward.  Asked why police didn't make an arrest back then, Detective James Wethington said that police did not have enough evidence at the time.

Detective Wethington says a third victim recently came forward and led police to re-interview Ortiz.  Police say Ortiz confessed.

Woodson Terrace Police say the department is concerned there may be other victims who spent the night at the Ortiz home.

Detective Wethington said, "If there is a parent that knows that their daughter stayed the night there, we don't want them to suggest anything to their daughter.  But ask them, did anything happen to you when you were there?"

Police added that they have spoken to Ortiz's daughter and have no reason to believe she was a victim of abuse.   Ortiz is married and worked as a handyman.
