GRANITE CITY, Ill. (KMOV.com) -- A Granite City woman was charged Tuesday with a felony charge of disorderly conduct , according to Madison County Sheriff  Robert J. Hertz.

The woman, identified as Jennifer Richter, 39, was arrested late Sunday night after the Madison County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of underage alcohol consumption in Richter's home.

Deputies met with the occupants of the home and determined the complaint to be false, but found Richter walking in the roadway near her home while intoxicated. Richter was taken into custody for making a false report through the 911 emergency system, an offense similar to false 911 reports she has made twice since September, according to police.

Richter is being held at Madison County Jail on a $10,000 bond while awaiting a formal review of facts by the Madison County State's Attorney Office.
