(KMOV.com) – Police said two suspects were arrested in north St. Louis County after a two-state chase Tuesday evening.
Police said they attempted to pull over a car near Hall and Adelaide around 8:15 p.m. Authorities said the vehicle refused to stop. Police said one suspect, who was in the passenger's seat, pointed a gun at an officer. According to authorities, the car hit a bump, causing the passenger to drop the gun behind.The suspects then led them on a pursuit.
Authorities said the suspects led them into Illinois where the perpetrator drove onto Route 111 before going west on I-270. Eventually, the suspects led the chase back into Missouri on I-270, exiting off the highway at St. Charles Rock Road, and eventually driving onto I-170.
Police said the suspects then exited onto eastbound I-70 before crashing near the junction of I-70 and Florissant.
The suspects were then taken into custody.
