Police investigate triple shooting north of downtown St. Louis Saturday

(KMOV.com) -- St. Louis police responded to a triple shooting just after 1:00 a.m. Saturday. 

The incident occurred in the 2600 block of Martin Luther King Drive near the intersection of North Jefferson just north of downtown St. Louis.

Police say shots were fired from the street into the Hit Zone Bar after several people were asked to leave due to fighting. 

Officials say a 35-year-old man was shot in the chest and foot, a 29-year-old man was shot in the arm, and a 40-year-old man was shot in the stomach. All three victims were taken to a hospital and are listed in stable condition. 

Police are searching for a black man with an average build and short hair, about 5’9” to 6’2” tall, wearing black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
