ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) –Two gas stations were robbed within hours, one in South County and the other in Pine Lawn, early Thursday morning.

A man, described as being 5-foot-8, wearing a stocking cap, bandana and a coat, entered the BP Station in the 5600 block of Telegraph Road in Oakville, Missouri around 2:00 a.m. armed with a handgun. Authorities say the man stole an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the scene.

Less than two hours later, a Phillips 66 in the 6100 block of Natural Bridge was robbed by a man who entered the store, jumped over a counter and took an undisclosed amount of money from the store.

According to Pine Lawn Police, the suspect jumped over the counter and struggled with the woman who was working behind it. Police say the man was wearing a camouflage hat and has “been on a rampage for a week.” Police say he is the suspect in several other gas station robberies.

There were no injuries reported in either case.
