New audio has surfaced of a blistering pre-game speech made by suspended Rams defensive coordinator Gregg Williams from 2011 while with the Saints.
In a report by Michael Silver of Yahoo! Sports, a documentary filmmaker released the audio of Williams' speech -- which is laced with profanity. The filmmaker who released the audio says it is clear Williams was putting a bounty on quarterback Alex Smith.

"Kill the head and the body will die," Williams is heard saying to his players.
In the audio, Williams makes specific references to injure numerous players like Frank Gore, Michael Crabtree and Vernon Davis on the San Francisco 49ers before the showdown in the NFC Divisional Playoff Game, which the Saints lost 36-32.
"Williams also referenced the prospect of his players inflicting a severe knee injury upon San Francisco wideout Michael Crabtree and exhorted them to 'put a lick on' backup receiver Kyle Williams in an effort to 'find out' if he was still suffering from the effects of a late-December concussion," writes Silver.
