ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – An 8-year-old girl was injured after witnesses say she was stabbed with a pencil inside a school bus in north St. Louis on Tuesday.
Witnesses told News 4’s Marc Cox that students from the Imagine Academy of Environmental Science and Math were in a bus near the intersection of Minerva and Academy when a girl stabbed the second-grader in the forehead with a pencil.
According to witnesses, the bus driver slammed on the brakes during the incident, injuring several other kids who hit their heads.
None of the injuries are considered serious.
It was not known whether the student who stabbed the girl would be punished.
