MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A Milwaukee man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for sex trafficking three girls between Wisconsin and Chicago.
Federal prosecutors announced Friday that U.S. District Judge Rudolph Randa handed down the sentence to 37-year-old Sean Patrick on Thursday. The judge ordered that Patrick begin serving the sentence after he finishes a state court sentence of 20 years from his conviction last year of reckless homicide.
Patrick pleaded guilty in October to three counts of sex trafficking of a child, and a fourth charge of conspiring to sex-traffic children.
Prosecutors say Patrick targeted younger females from disadvantaged and broken families, and typically took them to Chicago to work at a race track there.
