(KMOV) -- Wentzville Police Chief Lisa Harrison says the department is behind the times in keeping up with the city's growing population. Harrison recently presented the Board of Alderman requests to fix the issue with additional officers.
Department officials say computer and identity thefts are big crimes in the area which they cannot keep up, without stretching their resources too thin.
Harrison says she will continue to punch the numbers and offer a newer proposal to the Board of Alderman in May.
