ST. CHARLES, Missouri (KMOV.com) -- A massage therapist in St. Charles is accused of using hidden cameras to secretly record his client during appointments.

Kirk Jackson, who owns and operates Atlas Massage Therapy near the South 94 Outer Road, has been charged with felony invasion of privacy.

Police say a woman told them Jackson, 37, instructed her to get undressed and she noticed a tin tissue box cover that had holes in the side of it. She told police she suspected it included a video camera.

Police said on Wednesday a female undercover booked an appointment at Atlas to investigate the woman’s claims.

Authorities said after she was taken to a massage therapy room, the officer served a search warrant. Investigators searched the room and discovered an active hidden camera where the massages take place.

Police say they then found a laptop at Jackson’s home with numerous images of nude and partially nude clients.

Authorities said Jackson has worked at Atlas for three to four years. Police are investigating whether or not another unidentified location may have been involved.

On his website, Jackson claims to be a decorated Army veteran, a former firefighter and a former Jefferson County corrections officer.

He’s currently in custody at the St. Charles County Jail on a $75,000 cash-only bond.
