ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOV) – Six children are in protective custody after police arrested their parents for making meth in the house they rented in St. Charles.
Police state Sean Crews admitted cooking meth in the basement because he needed money. Three others who lived in the home allegedly admitted to babysitting and keeping a lookout in exchange for finished meth.
Drug investigators tell News 4 that chemicals used to make the drugs were found right next to the kids’ play area and some were mixed in with the toys.
Police have paid attention to Crews since he admitted to breaking his child’s, 6, collar bone before Christmas. Prosecutors have also charged him with child abuse.
