ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Police are looking for a single gunman who shot two people Monday night in north St. Louis.
According to authorities the shooting happened outside a home in the 5200 block of St. Louis Avenue.
Police said the gunman approached the home from a lot across the street and started shooting. A male, 21, standing on the sidewalk was shot in the abdomen.
A woman, 61, was shot in the torso while standing at her front door.
Emergency crews rushed both victims to a local hospital. The male is said to be in critical condition and the female in serious condition.
Police said the male appears to have been the apparent target, but the gunman was very erradic while shooting.
At this time, it is not clear if police know who the suspect may be.
