POPLAR BLUFF, Missouri (KMOV.com) -- A Poplar Bluff man is facing a molestation charge after police said he sexually abused a toddler.
On Sunday, officers with the Poplar Bluff Police Department responded to the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center Emergency Room in reference to a report that a 1-year-old child had been sexually abused.
During the course of the investigation, police determined that the toddler was abused when in the care of Lance Hada, 20. According to reports, he was babysitting the child when the alleged molestation occurred.
When interviewed by police, Hada admitted to touching the child inappropriately.
Hada was booked on a charge of 1st degree Child Molestation. He is being held in the Butler County jail.
