Man stabbed by his sister in 2013 dies as a result of his injuries

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A man who was stabbed by his sister in 2013 died two months ago from the injuries he sustained.
Edward Hallmon, 55, was allegedly stabbed by his younger sister, Angela Hallmon, during an argument in the 5300 block of Northland on December 21, 2013.
The case was reclassified as a homicide after the eldest Hallmon died on March 8 at a nursing home.
Police said the suspect, who was 53 when the incident occurred, was originally charged with first-degree domestic assault, armed criminal action and two counts of tampering with physical evidence by the Circuit Attorney's Office.
The suspect was taken into custody by police at the scene shortly after the incident.
The suspect reportedly tried to clean up blood at the scene before being arrested, authorities said.
